There is almost no statistical assessment nor the means to make statistical assessments.

Those with the means must be more committed and more generous to those in the statistical spotlight.

For new programmes, this means using systematic evaluations, wherever possible, and providing training in data management and statistical skills.

This is done by assessing national statistical capacity to report gender statistics to the international statistical system.

In 2004, the State Statistical Committee did work to introduce gender indices into statistical reports on agriculture.

To request regional and international organizations to make use of the official statistical reports issued by national statistical offices in the Arab States in the reports issued by them, and to compare such reports with those of the national statistical offices in order to reconcile them before use and to endeavour to correct any reports issued by them that do not reflect the situation of the Arab States.
