We're now moving into East Africa.

Middle East and North Africa Regions

IN THE MIDDLE EAST, AFRICA, CENTRAL ASIA

They are implemented chiefly in severely affected areas of the Sahel, North Africa, Southern Africa and East Africa.

As regards Africa and the Middle East, the North Africa and Middle East region is used as a trans shipment point for drugs from Afghanistan and South East Asia en route to European markets.

Then modern humans emerged somewhere in Africa, came out of Africa, presumably in the Middle East.

They're making it all the way across to East Africa.

Here you have Sub Saharan Africa, South Asia, East Asia, Arab states, East Europe, Latin America, and OECD.

Between Africa and South, East and Southeast Asia South Africa is investing in Hong Kong (China) and Singapore.

The five subregional offices are located in and are responsible for the following subregions Kigali, East Africa Lusaka, Southern Africa Niamey, West Africa Tangier, Morocco, North Africa and Yaoundé, Central Africa.

This is Kibera, which is the largest slum in East Africa.

And 33 are spread between Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Swahili is spoken by about 50 million people in East Africa.

The project will focus on four subregions (North Africa, West and Central Africa, East Africa and southern Africa) and will involve eight countries (two in each subregion), to be selected.

And that's what many people know East Africa for the wildlife, the elephants, and so on.

It's being used by NGOs all over East Africa, small NGOs doing their own little projects.

Whereas the situation in Sub Saharan Africa, North Africa and the Middle East could be further improved, significant progress is being made in other regions, including Latin America and the Caribbean, Central, South and South West Asia and East and South East Asia, with the establishment of mechanisms for monitoring drug abuse trends.

Like sub Saharan Africa, the Middle East and North Africa is confronted with the challenges of economic growth and, to a lesser degree, of poverty alleviation.

Regional initiatives are under way in Mexico and in Central America, francophone West Africa, Southern Africa, Central and Eastern Europe, and South and South East Asia.
