The previous Criminal Code defines homosexuality as a criminal offence, while the new Criminal Code eliminates such a stipulation.

Criminal liability of legal persons will be provided for in the recodified Criminal Code.

Chapter 2 of the Criminal Code sets out the general principles of criminal responsibility.

Under section 6A of the Crimes (Biological Weapons) Act, Chapter 2 of the Criminal Code Act 1995 (the Criminal Code) applies in relation to these offences.

Legal provisions addressing cybercrime should ensure that the criminal code is capable of being applied to acts involving the use of computers, rather than involve a wholesale revision of the existing criminal code.

With respect to offences relating to trafficking in children, child prostitution and child pornography, section 3 of the Criminal Code applies. This section deals with joint crimes and the determination of criminal responsibility of offenders (see articles 25 29 of the Criminal Code).

It matters to mention that the process of reform of the Criminal Code is underway.

Entries 2 and 57 replace Act No. 88 by article 91 of the Criminal Code .

Moreover these persons are subject to criminal liability in accordance with the RA Criminal Code for commission of such offences outside Armenia which are prescribed by Article 388 of the RA Criminal Code (terrorist act against representatives of foreign state or international organization), Article 389 (international terrorism) and by several other articles, regardless of the fact whether the mentioned acts are prescribed by the criminal code of the state where there were committed.

The draft recodification of the Criminal Code was prepared by a group of independent experts on criminal law and international criminal law their final proposal takes over, inter alia, the provisions concerning the criminal offence of terrorism and criminalization of the financing of terrorism from the Criminal Code currently in force, i.e. current provisions of Sections 94, 7, 10, and Section 185a paragraph 2.

The conditions and procedure for granting mutual legal assistance are specified in articles 5 to 10 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and article 12 of the Criminal Code, and are regulated by the bilateral and multilateral agreements on this subject.

As acts prescribed by the Criminal Code are prohibited in principle, no organization can be established (be registered by the state) in Armenia if at least one of its purposes is committing an act, which is prescribed by the Criminal Code.

The criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, within Chapter XVII, provides for criminal offences against humanity and values protected by the international law (Article 186.).

(a) Section 162 c of the Norwegian Penal Code required that the agreement had some link with the criminal activity of an organized criminal group.

According to the Code of Criminal Procedure, an investigative body or a Prosecutor's Office commences criminal proceedings if there is reason and grounds for it.
