These provisions apply to public and private employment.

Structure of public employment by hierarchy and by service

The Agency continued to follow the employment histories of its graduates and their career performance after the initial period of employment.

The Individualized Integration, Training and Employment Plan is available to everyone looking for work, whether or not they receive employment assistance, employment insurance or other public income support.

Since 2001, the Agency has been hosting the Business Achievement Awards to honour leaders in the field of equal employment opportunity.

The Ministry of Labour has established an independent agency known as the Employment Equity Commission to administer the affirmative action legislation.

There should be equal access to public sector employment across the various ethnic, linguistic and religious communities.

For example, under FAR 1.301 (b), internal agency guidance is not subject to the same public disclosure requirements as agency acquisition regulations (see above, endnote 37).
