The main activities of the Ministry include research on and development of long range space communication concepts, complex satellite systems and a pilot plan for promoting satellite utilization and advanced satellite communication systems.

(a) Research on and development of small, low Earth orbiting satellite communication systems

(d) Improving governance systems to strengthen state capacity bridging the digital divide and harnessing information and communication technologies for development

The internal review identified the need to reinforce internal communication systems, and enhance consultations and information sharing between the secretariat's programmes.

While the relative novelty of electronic forms of communication might require greater explanation than traditional forms of communication, the Working Group stressed that the text should be drafted in a manner that encompassed any form of communication.

(b) Applying information and communication technologies to improve internal management processes and external service delivery systems, and promoting civil service automation (this is especially the case in well established and rapidly changing administrative systems)

The application of information and communication technologies (ICTs) depends on telecommunications systems, including hardware such as telephones, cable, satellites, and broadband networks.

Most countries also create new offences to cover criminal activities that specifically target computer and communication systems and the data they hold.

The Committee, working group or rapporteur shall not make public any communication, submissions or information relating to a communication prior to the date on which its views are issued.

(c) Developing the means of communication and of computer science, including new mobile paid radio telephones and electronic cards for them, large ground based antenna systems for communications and television broadcasting and river navigation systems

The group recognized that the term board has different meanings in unitary and two tier systems.

The Working Group agreed to change the word communication to communications in paragraph (a), pursuant to footnote 19.

The Committee may refer the communication to the Working Group in order to be assisted in this task.

Work will be done with partners to promote the necessary institutional reforms (tax reforms, access to credit, improved communication systems, etc.) to facilitate entrepreneurship.

The reliance of the global financial system on high technology communication systems makes it vulnerable to attack by those who wish to disrupt it.

The other option we could choose was to develop the systems of communication that would allow us to share ideas and to cooperate amongst others.

These systems should consist of basic communication chains that can best ensure that the warning is received, communicated and acted upon by the affected communities.

The Working Group may be aware that electronic means of communication may involve the use of particular tools or software.

That means that communication and learning systems must be strengthened, and that the partners engaged in the youth strategy must be fully part of this process.
