The Islamic Republic of Iran's Customs Administration implements the state laws and regulations on export import in accordance with the Export Import Regulations Code and its annexed tariff table.

As export and outsourcing opportunities increasingly depend on satisfying security regulations in export destinations, undemanding domestic regulation hinders technology or the outsourcing of export development.

Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Import and Export Duties

Australian export controls are primarily enabled under the Customs Act 1901 and executed through the Regulation 13E of the Customs (Prohibited Exports) Regulations 1958.

The Weapons of Mass Destruction (Prevention of Proliferation) Act 1995 provides catch all controls for goods an dservices not regulated by the Prohibited Export Regulations.

The import and export of the firearms and bullets are performed in accordance with the regulations prescribed by the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

The import and export of arms by other entities are carried out in accordance with the regulations set by the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

This set of regulations shall enter into force as of January 1, 2004 and the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Import and Export Duties amended and published by the State Council on March 18, 1992 will be abolished at the same time.

In cases where the original import goods to be changed free of charge are not transported out of China or the original export goods are not transported into China, the customs shall levy customs duties on the original import and export goods in line with regulations.

The Customs shall levy import and export duties in accordance with the provisions of this set of regulations on goods that are allowed to be imported into or exported from the People's Republic of China and on articles entering into China, unless otherwise specified in laws and administrative regulations.

Standards and technical regulations in place at home and in export markets represent indispensable information in strategic planning, design of products, preparation and operation processes and maintenance of an acceptable quality level.

In the case of levying and returning duty for import and export goods, the provisions of article 15 or 16 of this set of regulations shall be used to determine the tariff rate applicable.

The laws and decrees establishing this preferential treatment include the Foreign Investment Act and its regulations (Law No. 127 of 1992) and Decree No. 4691 and Decree No. 3192 on industrial export processing zones.

Seventy three Member States have provided information on their local market regulations and 89 States have reported that they have reviewed their import export procedures to ensure that they conform to Security Council requirements.

Also in relation to Sub paragraph 2 (a) of the Resolution, the Netherlands indicated, in its first report (at page 6), that where necessary, arms export regulations applying throughout the Kingdom will be amended or extended to allow effective monitoring of the import, transit and export of strategic goods, including financial involvement with such movements .

Collection and destruction of illicit small arms and light weapons, capacity building in the development of appropriate legislation and regulations and import and export control are the areas where cooperation from the international community is especially needed.
