The present Statute may be amended by decision of the General Assembly.

The Statute and the laws of Brčko District are in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and Laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Constitutionality and Legality, art. 41 of the Brčko District Statute).

While all States are free to choose whether to become a party to the Rome Statute or not, recently we were happy to welcome the one hundredth ratification of the Statute by Mexico.

Acknowledges the inclusion of gender related crimes in the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court and in the Elements of Crimes, adopted by the Assembly of State Parties to the Rome Statute in September 2002, and urges States to ratify or accede to the Rome Statute, which entered into force on 1 July 2002

A total of 191 States are parties to the Statute of the Court, and 65 of them have recognized the Court's jurisdiction as compulsory, in accordance with Article 36, paragraph 2, of its Statute.

The recommendations put forward in the report highlighted the need to amend the United Nations Administrative Tribunal statute to bring it into conformity with the International Labour Organization Administrative Tribunal statute in those areas.
