Executive summary. Note by the secretariat

The secretariat shall service the Executive Board.

An official of the secretariat designated by the Executive Secretary shall serve as secretary to the Executive Board.

The head of the Committee secretariat is Mr. Hama Arba Diallo, Executive Secretary of the Convention secretariat.

Rules 16 and 19 of those rules of procedure encourage the Executive Board to meet at the headquarters of the secretariat, but permit it to meet elsewhere.
