Increased financing for statistical capacity building.

We need improved capacity, improved coordination and improved financing.

Historically, the three regional offices mentioned above have had to be self financing.

Although training and institutional capacity building were important for sustainable development, surprisingly the only United Nations organ devoted to providing them was also the only one that was self financing, with no financial support from the Organization.

These include limited financing, limited institutional capacity, legal complexity, and the need for community involvement.

Women entrepreneurs face inherent obstacles such as insufficient administrative skills, difficulties in financing and low self esteem.

For that purpose, the United Nations humanitarian capacity should be enhanced, predictable financing provided and coordination reinforced.

I'm saying that the capacity for self transcendence is just a basic part of being human.

The problem has been compounded by the requirement that the Office not only be self financing but should also generate, from the minimal procurement business awarded to it, surplus income for financing inter agency services, which IAPWG members have acknowledged as valuable.

Tool kits designed to facilitate self execution of MTS capacity building have been completed on institutional capacity building for trade negotiations and trade policy formulation MTS reference centres and inquiry points and export sector strategies.

The cost of fully covering IMF debt stock relief, without undermining the Fund's financing capacity, should be met by the use of existing IMF resources.

We therefore urge that their implementation be accelerated, particularly in the areas of financing for infrastructural development, agriculture and capacity building in the public sector.

He underscored the important role played by the specialized agencies and the international institutions associated with the United Nations in assisting the Non Self Governing Territories to develop their capacity to assume the responsibilities of self government.

Furthermore the Financial Services Commission carried out a self assessment in relation to measures adopted to implement the FATF Special Recommendations on terrorist financing and relevant UN resolutions.

Coordination, capacity and financing are also critical during this period, and we must all work together to ensure that transition is managed as effectively as emergency response.

Many Parties, including Brazil, China, Gambia and India, mentioned that limited national budgets, inadequate financing, and limited technical support and human capacity are constraints to further research.

It has also developed a Diagnostic Framework which can be used to self assess various aspects of a Customs Administration and to identify Capacity Building needs.

Particular attention will be given to capacity building and ensuring that the requisite financing and policy changes are in place to allow new approaches to be taken to scale.
