Different countries and groups of countries have diverse interests.

Many developed countries and a number of developing countries were both capital exporting and capital importing countries.

Both presentations had triggered a very lively discussion among developing countries, countries in transition and other countries.

Lithuania had concluded readmission agreements with the Nordic countries, the Visegrád countries and most European Union countries.

This represents a particularly important challenge for developing countries, especially the least developed countries, and countries in transition.

Delegations of countries with advanced capabilities, including some developing countries, described programmes to provide assistance to developing countries.

Indeed, these treaties which were originally concluded almost exclusively between developed and developing countries are now increasingly being concluded between developing countries and between these countries and economies in transition, although the great majority are still concluded between home countries that are developed countries and host countries that are developing countries (figure 3).

So poor countries are by and large low trust countries.
