Now for their own interests, enterprises have raised their enthusiasm of pollution control, cherished limited emissions and reduced emissions of pollutants.

Stricter control over sensitive nuclear technologies and materials is also needed.

Based on these building blocks, the world could agree on allocating the costs for speeding the development and spread of new low emission technologies. This global framework would underpin national and global targets for emissions control and for monitoring the progress of the technological overhaul.

That the CO2 problem, the climate problem that we've heard about, is driving lots of things innovations in the energy technologies that will reduce emissions but also, I think, inevitably, it will drive us towards thinking about climate and weather control, whether we like it or not.

Iran plans to reduce emissions by 175,270 kt CO2 equivalent by reducing flaring and by introducing new technologies that would capture the gases.

There is also a need to intensify efforts to develop water and land related technologies for irrigation and water desalination, using solar energy technologies, and to develop pollution control measures, including integrated programmes for pest management and the control of chemical pollution.

Export of dual use goods and technologies from the Republic of Armenia customs territory is implemented according to the special order defined by the Republic of Armenia based on permission by the Control Committee for Export of Dual use Goods and Technologies under the RA Government.

There is continuing need, more than ever before, to agree on an effective and transparent system of export control over technologies and materials that would achieve the objectives of non proliferation in all its aspects, while at the same time ensuring access to these technologies for peaceful applications.

The most advanced observational and modelling tools, pollution prevention and control technologies and knowledge about best practices in air quality management must be shared effectively among industrialized and developing nations.

Another project has been formulated to combat desertification and deforestation in Rwanda through the promotion of innovative technologies for the extraction and purification of methane gas from Lake Kivu which will reduce the burden on forest fuel and decrease CO2 emissions.
