In September, the Tribunal de grande instance of Cancuzo did not review any cases under LAP, the Bujumbura mairie Tribunal completed all LAP cases and the Tribunal of Muyinga was unable to review cases because of a strike by the detainees.

During its seventeenth and eighteenth sessions, the Tribunal dealt with legal and judicial matters, including a review of the Rules and judicial procedures of the Tribunal.

He exercised his right to independent merits review of both adverse decisions and attended hearings before the Refugee Review Tribunal that were fair and unbiased.
