UNOPS has, in 2004 and 2005, conducted several training sessions which focus on staff needs.

Firstly, the coaching staff accumulated rich experience in his gradual study. Secondly, it needs scientific training, which should be accumulated over time.

H. Procurement staff training

As mentioned in the preceding paragraph, resources of 165,000 are related to training in connection with the development of online courses to meet career development needs of staff in field missions ( 96,000) and to conduct three personnel management training programmes for 60 staff members ( 69,000).

The request for increased funding for staff training was unconvincing.

At UNDP, procurement staff also receives training on legal aspects of procurement.
