Many Parties appreciated the high quality of professional services, both in the effective implementation of activities and in the support provided to the intergovernmental process.

The Advisory Committee was informed that the Executive Director's overall decision making process would benefit from access to a formal or informal intergovernmental consultative body.

The central role in that process, in our view, is played by the intergovernmental mechanism of the General Assembly's High level Dialogue on Financing for Development.
